Ok this is how it went. 10 years back I was given a cassette of dynamite poptastic ditties that I was led to believe were by a Swedish band called SATOR. A crackin Wildhearts-esque band Ive since bought a few bits by. However, several tracks off this long since chewed up ferric home taped cassette have illuded me. I am sure there is a Scandinavian connection though.
The reason for this has become clear in recent months. Not all the tracks on the cassette where by the one band DOH!
This is where those of you with enormous record collections come in.
Dunno the name of the track, Dunno the name of the band, although Connie Bloom recently suggested that it maybe Fallen Angels.
Andy FA has sent me shed loads of them and it aint amongst the tracks so far. Ok, the track is about some guys chick walking out on him leaving him "washing up and bills to pay" but he later sings "she will be back some time today.. my lttle runaway"
There is a cracking sax solo in the track that does lend some credence to the Hanoi connection. It does sound uncannily like a Mike Monroe sax break.
So there you go. get ya thinking caps on.
Maybe I can get some sleep at last. Id love to track this song down.

    <font size="4" face="Arial">Hmm. Don't think it's the Fallen Angels, the lyrics don't ring a bell.

Yeah, got Headquake. The stand out track on that album is called "I wanna go home" Anyone who has ever had the bitter sweet experience of hard touring will understand every line of that beauty. It was also on my original TDK cassette and the reason I thought it was all Sator.
I spoke to Chip, Sator guitarist, not two months ago and he was the one who disappointed me by telling me that the song I was after was not them.

Hi there, I think you might be talking about a track by Sam Yaffa (ex Hanoi) and Pelle Almgren called "Lonely in Love." It's a rocking track. I sadly don't have a copy of it any more, but there are still a few vinyl copies around, I found one a few years ago as a present for a friend. Have been trying to rack my brains to remember the lyrics or find them on the web but no luck so far. It's on an EP they did in 1986.

I just had a brainwave. After some intense concetration, I remembered the copy I bought online was from Hippy Shake Records in Finland, I checked online and they've got a copy:

    Question

There were some more Fallen Angels albums which followed but with different line-up's. Unfortunatly I don't have any of 'em.
Also there was one song missing from the Hanoi/Fallen Angels sessions, a b-side from the 7" single, 'Inner Planet Love'. So could be the one???? Maybe someone has it? If so send it to me please!
